From design to completion, we're builders with a complete in-house service, working as a design and build contractor and main contractor.
As a bespoke house builder, we design every new oak frame for its site and its client.
When your architect leads the design, we work as an architect led house builder, building to their plans.

New build on heritage sites
At Common House, we replaced an old garage and greenhouse with a two-car port garage, storage and an exterior oak-framed staircase up to a bright workspace above.
The new building was designed with great sensitivity to the character of the 17th-century manor house, and we recycled and reused as many of the original materials as possible.

Our team offers expert advice on compliance with heritage regulations and planning permissions, ensuring a smooth process from concept to completion.
Where the building is listed, that includes listed building consent, and working alongside conservation officers and heritage consultants.
